Reyux Adjacent Idea
I'm thinking about writing a Reyux Adjacent ship in which Ophelia is a widowed single mother trying to take care of her six-year-old daughter in Philadelphia after a conflict between her husband and his uncle's crime organization resulted in the deaths of both him and his uncle, as well as Ophelia's brother and father, and her mother-in-law. Now alone and working two jobs, waitress by day and dancer by night, she trusts no one and teaches her daughter to trust no one. Deep down, however, she wants to love again and to find protection for herself and her daughter in case anyone tied to Claudius looks for her. She then meets Jackie one night when he visits the club where she works and they hit it off. She soon learns that Jackie is also a single parent, having a nine-year-old daughter from a prior relationship. And both of their daughters are trying to kind of "Parent Trap" them, but Jackie and Ophelia have kind of a toxic relationship because Jackie is, well, Jackie.
