‣Updates!!
I was actually going to make a Youtube Video Addressing some stuff back in June but life happened! Since then, I’ve reached 1,000 subscribers on Youtube and despite this being a very slow summer for me (uploading & view wise) I’m really excited about this fact! There’s a few things I want to clear up though going forward and all:
Social Media: I changed Twitter handles for a specific reason I wish not to disclose (I currently operate @jyoyowa) but still have ownership of @jawiez. This means, that I do recieve pm’s from both accounts but would prefer if it’s music related that you contact me at the newest handle!
Covering Status: I do not consider myself a ‘utaite’ or ‘youtaite’. I do not upload to NND, nor do I cover vocaloid songs (with the exception to demos, samples, and/or battles). If this is the sort of thing you are into then please feel free to unsub/ unfollow/ etc.
Language Status: I will still continue to cover songs of interest pertaining to korean, japanese, or chinese media but in english. I will not explicitly cover too much in the native language of either choices due to cultural differences and the lack of study time.
Daily Motion: I made a daily motion, to alleviate the burden of trying to fight the copyright engine on youtube. I will not re-upload old stuff on dailymotion but only stuff that may trigger an issue on youtube.
Channel Revamp: This summer I have been in the process of revamping this channel to fit my personal interests and desires. This process is still in progress and has taken longer than I would have hoped. The main take away from this is that I will STILL do vocal & instrumental covers. To clarify any alias mishaps, my name is Jyo. But from now on I will be using ‘Zephyr’ as my alias to match my username.
Future Plans: I began work on two original songs that I wish to still complete vocals for before my fall semester. I never stopped attending classes and have been in school effectively for 9 semesters.
Download Status: Until I feel comfortable allowing regular downloads then I will is the easiest way to answer this. I am more open to the idea of allowing streaming but at this particular point I cannot justify it as of yet. If the demand for downloads were to increase then I would probably consider it.
