Well....

We've officially got no money to buy food... or dinner for today... and medicines... also for paying bills, mostly because of the fact 5 out of 9 of us are hit with a very terrible case of flu: Me, my older brother and baby brother (who's been hit the worst out of all of us), my little sister and my mom.

Our reserves have dried up buying medicines for the five of us who are incredibly sick, and I don't even have the strength to pick up my stylus to draw.

So once again, I'm asking for some help. We're in a pretty dire situation, and any amount would seriously help us eat tonight as well as buy some meds. I know asking for 700$ just to cover all this issue I just described is a long shot, so I'm just going to ask for any amount possible instead.

Sorry everyone, but the 2000 followers special is going to be put on hold. Our business got broken in for the second time, and I'm just not feeling the slightest bit of joy at the moment. Everything is gone.

Announcement time?

Hey guys, I thought I would drop an update on things.

As you guys know, my punk ass is chronically ill. I've been trying to get ahead of things for the past couple of years. If I don't take steps to help, I will get worse. That is really scary to think about. I've lost a lot of myself in the last ten years. I use mobility aids already, and that's hard for how hyper-independent I've always been. Thankfully, therapy is helping with that battle.

My point about all this is that I need to put what energy I have left into the things I enjoy before I can't. So as a result, I've started a Ko-fi. If you guys want to support my writing, this is a great way you can. Any donations go straight into my healthcare costs. Especially since one of my meds has to be compounded. This means I have to have a pharmacy make my pills because it doesn't normally come in that dosage. Unfortunately, that's not covered by insurance (cries in USA healthcare).

I don't want this to be a cry for help or begging for money. That's not my goal. I just want to have something set up in case someone wants to help me out. Or if you just want to show appreciation for my writing.

On top of that, I would like to open commissions once I'm more consistent with my writing again. I'd probably only have a couple of slots open at a time. If any of you who have commissions open want to send me advice, I would appreciate it.

My question for you guys would be, how do we feel about opening a Patreon? I'd love to have a monthly tier where you guys get sneak peeks, early content, and maybe even polls about fics. I'd also have bonus content, like alternate endings. (*cough* Gemini *cough*) I'd love to hear what you guys think.

So I've been trying to keep up new pages every two weeks or less, and I have managed this since the start of chapter 2, but irl events and personal health have made it harder and harder to keep up with every page batch, these problems started around spring last year.

I'm having medical issues, I prefer to keep them mostly private, but it's something that's been getting worse over time. I'm having a lot of exhaustion, and it's hard for me to keep up the grind I had, I'm probably going to need to get surgery at some point soon.

I'm gonna still try and put out pages, but the two-week things probably not coming back till I can get my health a little more stable again. Think I'm going to aim for 3 weeks for now, but I might be later.

I might do a little more one-off non-Synergize art I love Synergize, and I will still be working on the comic in the background, but I feel a certain level of pressure when I do synergize stuff to keep up a level of quality, so you might see more art on my main or side art blog, also start doing more non-art things in my free time like video games until I can get the energy to purely art grind again. I'm not burnt out, but my body just won't let me put out pages at the rate I was before, I have the motivation, just not the energy. My own body is betraying me, and their nothing I can do but wait for more doctor's appointments.

i apologize for the lack of art recently! or any updates, i am currently at the hospital trying to recover from both being previously hit by a motorbike, and having my head hit hard concrete in the process that has gotten worse. i dont know how long ill be in here for, but ill try my best to communicate and update when I can, thank you!
