HIIIIIII it’s ili from @idiotlaintelligent with a SECOND!!!!! Robot Flower RP blog. This one has my gijinka for her, and a little surprise! ;) I will draw answers to most asks here, so if you want quicker responses look to the sister blog @ask-robot-flower !! YES I HAVE BEEN HOLDING ONTO THEM EVER SINCE I STARTED MY JASON/JAIME FIC THIS'LL BE LONG SO ITS UNDER THE CUT
-they cook together, mostly dinner and breakfast and they are so used to it that they anticipate what the other needs and just hands it over, and of course they can never go wrong with some domestic dancing in the kitchen
- jason and Jaime read together sometimes, and trade books
- they DEFINITELY are little shits to eachother and give eachother heart attacks
- jaime is a light sleeper by nature and jason is a deep sleeper by nature (light sleeper by bat training)
- jaime runs cold and jason runs hot so cuddling thermal equilibrium my beloved
Since i am in the pre blue beetle college au kick
- jaime as a civilian and adjusting into a civilian gothamite is more terrifying than blue beetle since he takes after his nana during college
- jaime makes jason feel normal, or as normal as a gothamite can be
- they study together and when Jaime or Jason are too mentally tired to continue they cuddle to recharge

Jaime is very chin restable and jay is a tank in comparison
- i very much focus on martha wayne's pearl collection when it comes to batkids bc i am THAT martha guy so i feel like jason would try to give jaime a peice from her collection like a small bracelet or earrings and jaime would go "do not put me in HEIRLOOMS" and then another bat upon accepting jaime would do it and jaime just sags bc oh okay this is a wayne thing to induct people into the family alr
- they're both such romantics and it drives everyone else up the wall bc they've been like this since before they were dating bc they're both pro kissing the homies goodnight and it's NORMAL to them so them dating kinda clicks into place with not a whole lot of fanfare
- before jaime finds out abt jason being red hood jaime just thinks that it must be a coincedence that whenever he texts jason an update abt him being caught up in a rogue scheme or a hostage situation red hood always arrives to the scene first and it is hilarious
Honestly i could go on and on but then we would be here for decades!
i kinda put a safety net on myself there because the characters in genshin doesn't have a canon age, so if, let's say, Kaeya is in his late twenties (as some theories said), then Rin being 19 will be indicate a significant age gap. hence i'm just going to say she could have lied about that... or not LMAOOOO it really depends on Kaeya's canon age, and on the reader (not MC, you). If you vibe with age gap, then go ahead. If you don't then, maybe she lied. We don't know the character's age, so it's hard to establish an age for an OC/reader insert.
Though for me, Rin is 19 and Kaeya is in his early twenties during RF, so the age difference is not that far.
In conclusion, it's all about your vibes~~ i'll leave it to the reader haha
(because Hoyoverse should really realease the character's canon age already.)

oooh i cant believe i completely forgot about that movie! I've seen it years ago, so maybe this is a sign for me to rewatch it lol. i sort of also leaned into Tangled because the movie soundtrack was amazing (Kingdom Dance inspired a certain scene for Chapter 11)

You know what? He didn't have that much thought about MC/You when you first met. What he expressed at the time was what he really was thinking---which was annoyed and was being authoritative. He was already thinking about the message left to him and he didn't really want to lead the program initially, so he was already not in the best mood lol. Their first meeting was very uneventful in terms of romance. It was a meet-ugly lol Kaeya just wanted to serve some lesson. He barely noticed MC/You until he caught her sneaking

(i'm debating with myself if i should be answering this one because this might be considered a spoiler, but i'll answer anyway because i also want to talk about Kaeya's thought process. consider this as some sort of deep dive lol pls proceed with caution)
Kaeya's a busy guy. On that day, he was planning on seeing Rosaria to ask about you among other things, so he headed to the church to look for her only to bump into you. And he sort of questioned if he's seeing things, because why do you look so different? (But really, his mind was just going "Ooh pretty? pretty. Pretty.. hm pretty..") You're look so different, and he realizes you are out of your usual clothes or armories, and yeah, you look...good. And Kaeya can't deny himself a pretty girl, really. He might be called complex, but he's a simple guy.
And when you apologized, running away from him---it dawned on him: you are not Rin Minamoto, of course, without your armories and literally in a dress. Which means that he's kind of free from his Captain title over you. So if you are not Rin, his cute little soldier, who are you supposed to be?
Hence you see him unfreezing, seemingly finally deciding on something and turning to chase after you.
To be honest, he felt like he was in on a joke with you. And that sort of excited him, because he likes the thrill of it. How will you react? How will you lie to him when he knows the truth? How will you get yourself out this? Who are you without your obligations to carry your fake identity? He likes your reactions, how easy it is to rile you up, and you are definitely checking him out, which boosted his ego all the more. His playfulness pays off with how you return with your own quips, so he's not letting go of you just yet. He's having too much fun getting to you.
[There are more things that he was thinking about, but the rest would be considered an actual spoiler that will be mentioned on later chapters. So for now, this is all I can say.]

With my current mental health, busier schedule, and other priorities, I am afraid writing unfortunately takes a backseat. I still try to write as much as I can in a week, but writing is a heavy process. And inspiration is fickle. I am the type to hate everything I write when I am uninspired that I end up deleting the entire chapter or idea. It sets me back a lot.
Updates are every three or four weeks, unfortunately. Which is why I appreciate everyone's patience. I understand if you prefer to read it as a completed work, which is also my goal. Still, comments in every chapter is such a blessing to me because it makes me feel like someone is still reading 😭 though, again, I don't mind if people are waiting for it to be finished before reading it as a whole. I understand :)
