Using “typing quirks” deliberately in spaces where people do not wish to decode your words just to see what you have say is ableist.
Especially when you don’t provide translations or stop when asked to.
As a visually impaired and dyslexic person I use a screen reader often, and so do many other visually impaired or reading impaired people.
TYPING QUIRKS ARE NOT VISUALLY IMPAIRED, READING IMPAIRED, OR SCREEN READER SAFE
Please consider reminding your followers that the tags 'screen reader friendly', 'screen reader safe' and 'screen reader compatible' on AO3 have so few works that they aren't even official tracked tags yet and that all kinds of people including disabled and neurodivergent access fic through use of software. If you don't use symbols/icons as paragraph breaks, your works are likely safe to use these tags!
