It's actually really funny that at certain points in the game the plot is beating Kyle over the head with plot hooks to try and get him to do the story but he's just too busy trying to be a harvest moon protagonist to do anything lol. Then he has a kid and his protagonist rights get revoked.

This was my drawing for the Valentine’s Day Exchange on the best Rune Factory server ever, run by @rune-factory !! Luckily I was the valentine for a fan of Kyle/Mana, being a big fan of the pairing myself, so I had lots of fun drawing something!

Me, opening the Rune Factory 2 emulation, rewatching the opening, and snagging some clips from it to make gifs;

Huh. Mana is in this first gen opening a lot. And we see some rather mystical content, especially at the beginning. Almost makes me feel like people wanted her to be a player character. Maybe she would've been, had the game come out later...

Day 1: First character you fell in love with.

Mana! Rune Factory 2 was my first Rune Factory game and what set me down the RF path because my friend had it and said the game had a pretty opening and I should play it.

And I want to say Mana is the first character I romanced. Because. There’s someone else that I fucking fell so hard for there was no getting up. But that’s to be shown Wednesday~ 

Until then! You get to meet Olivia, who I’ll be using if I ever draw more things for RF2. Which who knows if I will! But Olivia is great and I love her.

Day 4: Three’s a Crowd/Three’s a Party

I never really expected to ship these two, and for some reason, I always make their relationship really steamy.

Oh well. The steamier the better! That’s my motto!

“Mana, guess what came in today. You’ll never get it!” Julia teased as she set down a shipment box on the counter.

“It’s probably something bath related,” Mana replied without looking up from her book. The bathhouse had become almost overrun with books ever since Mana moved with Julia shortly after their marriage. She was a surprisingly avid reader.

“Well… Yeah,” Julia admitted. “You’re going to love it though,” she assured her wife.

This got Mana’s attention. “Oh really?”

Julia smirked. She had her exactly where she wanted her. “Definitely. Let me give you three hint:. It smells good, makes your skin soft, and I’m going to rub it all over your body.”

Mana smiled and set down her book. “Well gee, I’m still not sure what it could be.” She stood, slowly making her way around the counter until her face was only inches away from Julia’s. “Why don’t you show me?”

Their lips were so close, and Julia felt the magnetic pull that would soon take over. She felt Mana’s breath against her skin, and she was ready to go in for the kill.

But then crying came from upstairs.

Before Julia had time to make her way back to reality, Mana was already rushing up the stairs to check on little Leann, their daughter.

Julia glanced sadly at the lotions that would, unfortunately, not be used tonight.

Three was definitely a crowd.
