Blocked out the world for a couple hours and transcribed all of the Cecilia scenario (which you can listen to here) and started a very basic pass at translating it.
If there was ever an argument against 1:1 translation, it's how damn awkward Japanese translates into English when being as literal as possible with it:
I will make this sound more natural/flow better in English later. But translation is more of an art than a science.
In the meantime, some fun notes from this scenario:
Steam ships exist in the RF universe as of RF2, possibly sooner! (this scenario opens in Kardia, right as an adult Cecilia is leaving town via steam ship, one year before before the plot of RF2 begins)
If we assume that half-elves age at a similar rate as humans, then Mist is likely in her 30s here.
Cecilia specifically cites Russell (her father) as the one who arranged for her to "study abroad." It's unclear to me if she did actually study somewhere before traveling to Alvarna to work, or if 留学 is just being used in an extremely general sense. Or if she's also studying in Alvarna, rather than just working? From the game itself, we know that Tabatha has a connection with Egan, but I guess Russell must also have some connections in Alvarna?
Mist too, for that matter. She at least knows the De Sainte-Coquilles in Alvarna. But that doesn't surprise me, since we know that she canonically travels (having canonically visited both Fenith Island and Selphia).
