“Elsa stop!”
Anna stared after her sister for a second more, her voice not rising above a whisper, not daring. She reached out and pulled her sister lightly back, down towards the brush, where they could stay hidden from the stone giants around them.
“What are you doing? Are you crazy -- please tell me you weren’t about to follow them!” Her voice rushed out of her in a confused breath, eyes searching her sister’s. What was Elsa thinking? That she could..what? Freeze the giants into some kind of friendship? Those were huge creatures!
How was Elsa supposed to get them to listen to reason -- they might not even have ears! Anna’s heart was beating wildly as she imagined her sister running after the rocks, getting to them, flailing her arms around to get their attention and....
She shivered, and not from the cold.
