Happy Belated Holidays, @raripop, you requested a High School AU with RF1 or RF2 characters. Those are a lot of characters, so I just chose a few.
Hmmm, what did I headcanon? It’s all super rudimentary, so I apologize for all the tropes and cliches. I hope you enjoy!
- Raguna, a second year, is that pretty typical transfer student, son of a high middle class business man from abroad, I imagine he is a little detached because he moves around so often, so he doesn’t really remember things to well from the school’s he’s attended before. When he arrives, he is kind of big news, but is kind of assigned to do a bunch of menial chores, i.e. cleaning the classroom, taking out the trash, etc. His first friends are Mist and Rosetta and not too much longer later, Lukas and Zavier. Raguna’s best classes are P.E., Math and Geography. Is forced into the gardening club.
- Mist, (second year) she is well loved by her peers, but is dismissed as a little bit airheaded, though she is quite knowledgeable with most things. She is considered the friendliest person in the class and is always seen smiling and willing to help whoever needs it. She’s a little eccentric but they say it’s part of her charm. She is a very well-rounded student and seems to do very well in school despite never being seen studying, ranked top in her year. Always seems to have turnip incorporated into her lunches. Coaxes Raguna into the gardening club.
- Rosetta (second year) is a very passionate and ambitioius student. She is eager to please and is often found doing errands for teachers around the school, of which she has volunteered to do. She aims to make something big of her life and is always striving for the top to be thwarted by her childhood friend, Mist who always seems to slip ahead of her when she isn’t looking. She finds herself attached to Raguna the first time they meet and has shown interest in him, though he has yet to realize. Has a collection of white stones from different places around the world.
- Zavier (second year) is barely older brother of Tori and also member of the school’s soccer team, albeit a little less than good at what he does. A little rebellious and sporting a bad attitude, he is shocked to see Mist spending so much time with Raguna when he arrives, and after spending all this time trying to win her heart? He is a member of a sports team after all, how could she be resisting him? He talks big but does little, but genuinely cares for Mist and eventually grows to be a good friend of Raguna with time. Is constantly asking Raguna to show him pictures of all the places he’s been.
- Tori (first year), assistant student librarian, she is almost always behind the library counter watching over the pleasantly quiet space, a flurry of book knowledge spinning in her mind. She seems to have read just about every book available on the shelves. She doesn’t speak very much but is always seen smiling, and she seems to be one of the few that can tolerate her brother, Zavier’s sour behaviour. She looks to Mr. Russell, the librarian as a mentor and is very fond of having short conversations with him about books or Mr. Russell’s adopted baby girl, Cecilia. Wanderlust~ and a curious affection for Sharron, a third year often found in the library.
- Sharron (third year) is a foreign student who transferred to Kardia Academy midway through her first year. And yet no one seems to really know much about her. She is quiet and mysterious and is always found sitting in the library when not attending class. Her skin and hair are almost the same alabaster white and she always seems to be drifting off, but is always willing to have a nice conversation with anyone courageous enough to sit by her and start one. She is secretly a huge history buff and actually owns a historical relics replica collection, she currently is seeking out the replica of a very specific sword.
- Bianca (third year) is the daughter of foreign restaurant chain owner, Monsieur Jasper de Sainte-Coquille and childhood friend to Tabatha. She is sharp-tongued and quick witted, always having something to say, whether it be good or not. She is blunt and critical and holds high standards, unafraid to insult you for your lack of sense in fashion, though you’re wearing but the school uniform. She has great difficulty relaying her thoughts in appropriate fashion. Fearlessly sports the drill-style pigtails with pride.
- Tabatha (third year) is a childhood, and possibly only, friend of Bianca’s. Tabatha is a long way from home but has been under the de Sainte-Coquille family wing since her infancy (sponsorship). She is hardworking and earnest and dreams of a world of peace and filled with life. She is often found on the school grounds during her lunchbreak, feeding a stray cat that lives on the grounds. She has a great affection for animals and dreams of establishing an endangered animals sanctuary if she ever can. She looks to develop her studies via an environmental studies program in university.
- Lara (first year) is the daughter of the pastor of the local church. Though she is not particularly religious, she dons a crucifix on her a necklace on a daily basis. She is the head of the health committee and is found in the infirmary helping Professor Edward or patrolling the campus on her breaks, often with her first aid kit in her hand. She tends to fret over people even if the ailment is minor and is often the first to be there at the scene of an injury. She looks to become a nurse once she graduates from university. Has an intense sweet tooth.
@starslance, I’m SO sorry this is late, but happy belated holidays! I was your secret santa!! Your wish had so many elements I enjoyed myself and that I also felt worked together well that I wanted to include a lot (hence the time). I hope the effort will make up for the delay~
There are still two people who need their gifts, but we have word that they should be posted soon. After they’re posted, we’ll go on hiatus until around October, and we hope to see you all again next fall! It’s been a lot of fun running this event, you’ve all been a joy to work with <3
