Tonight, Texas Governor Greg Abott signed the racist “show me your papers” SB 4 into law, targetting all Brown and Black people across the state.

RGV Equal Voice Network partner organizations will hold a rally and press conference in response.

Today 4 unions & 9+ organizations joined in a peaceful protest against Texas Governor Greg Abbott's campaign block walk in McAllen, Tx. We were met with the Texas Militia carrying automatic assault rifles and continued to multiply as we chanted in the 100° heat. There were teachers, children & activists gathered yet this heavily armed militia still found it necessary to show their presence.
