21 If you could bring back any character, dead or alive, who would it be?

Liv :( She was their first weird sister daughter and they all loved each other so much. Robert and Liv were so special to each other, and it's devastating that he never got to say a proper goodbye to her.

1 When/how did you discover robron?

Hoooo boy so this is really funny one for people who don't know. Robrence is how I discovered Robron, in October 2017. LONG story time under the cut.

I was like vaguely aware of there being a few m/m couples in Emmerdale thanks to my mum's on-and-off interest in soaps and a dear friend (shoutout Archie I don't think you'll see this) who was in the Robron fandom back in 2016/early 2017. So I'd sort of seen the blonde one and the dark haired one in my friend's fan art, and seen them reblog/retweet some of the wedding 1.0 stuff, not paid much attention, lowkey hated soaps (lowkey still do xoxo). I'd seen a tiny bit of the episodes where Ronnie is pleading with Lawrence to accept himself as gay. I'd mostly drown out my mum's soaps when I was in the living room but as soon as I saw gay shit I was a little more interested. I'd seen loads over the years but only a few things I remembered. Like Chrissie stabbing herself, and Rhona and Vanessa kissing (I "wasn't gay" back then but THAT imprinted on my brain for definitely not gay reasons), and Val giving Finn talks about HIV. Also Alicia stuck in my head forever because my mum would proudly tell me every time she was on screen that she used to work with the actress's mum. Wasn't even vaguely following anything though.

And then one unassuming day in 2017 I was in the living room and it was that fucking episode where Robert makes the most intense 🥺 face at Lawrence and they nearly kiss in front of Lachlan. And I was like, I have no real idea who any of these bitches are but why the fuck is this pretty twink flirting with this old ass man I'm instantly obsessed??? Look at his stupid twink heart eyes face??? Oh god the old man is soooooo down bad for him!! OH GOD THEY'RE KISSING? Oh no some little shit walked in!!

Don't know why, it scratched my problematic trash-loving brain just right and I instantly got online (especially tumblr) to look for Emmerdale fandom stuff. I knew it was out there. So who the fuck was talking about Lawrence and Robert? Well, almost nobody, as it turned out. But also everybody? Everyone was all "URGH DISGUSTING" and I was looking for bitches as problematic as me who loved (or loved-hated) this shit. And I did in fact find a few of them, some of whom belong in the past (because I meant fun problematic guys jfc not the kind that gives me trauma) but one of whom does not is the lovely Rhia @rcbertsugden <3

But of course most of the people talking about Robert/Lawrence were here because of Robron. From there it's kind of a blur. I got hyperfixated on Robert and Lawrence, and Robert himself, and therefore Aaron, absorbed a bunch of the content through you lot, joined rewatch rooms (rip rabb.it), went through the youtube playlists, befriended a bunch of you. And now I'm 8 years in and deeply mentally ill about them. And subjecting you all to my bullshit.

Let it be known that I started out in this fandom as a Robrence shipper and I will die a Robrence shipper.

6. How comfortable is your OC in their skin? Do they like who they are? What would they want to change about themself?

Rhia is extremely comfortable in her skin and identity, very confident in herself (almost to the point of stubbornness). It's simultaneously a strength and a weakness - I don't want to spoil too much, but learning something about herself ends up cracking her own self-image.

12. What is the worst thing that has happened to your OC? How has it affected their behavior, their health, and their life in general?

Part of the reason Thorn isolates themselves at the beginning is that she was betrayed by somebody close to her in the past. She had a very close friend, her ONLY friend, who she shared most of her secrets with, turn on her in a way that shattered Thorn and is what spurred her to run away, where she stumbled onto the fae who offered her the pact that gave them their new form.

27. What are some assumptions others make about your OC? Are any of them true?

Rhia assumes Angelique is some form of hippie (not true). There are a few stories and rumors in town about why Angelique isn't married or dating, ranging from "she's a widow" to "she has a secret lover" to "she hasn't found someone she likes". Nobody knows the truth (and she refuses to tell)
