Meet Rhodizite!

Rhodizite

Components: Lumiere and Plumette

Pronouns: They/them, but she/her and he/him are also acceptable

Stability: Extremely stable

Weapon/Ability: Bo staff that can shrink down to a baton, ability to float for a short amount of time

Set Up: Any form of physical contact (mainly hugs and kisses)

Design Inspiration: Princess Peach and Peachette from Super Mario Bros. series

Gem Inspiration: Rhodizite is a light yellow to white gemstone, which is the main colors of Lumiere and Plumette

Position: Castle’s Bringer of Positivity and “Love Expert”

Personality: Bubbly, carefree, loves themself and everybody in the castle, flirty (in a soft way)

Regular Facts:

You bet that Lumiere and Plumette wanted to fuse when they first started dating

The ends of Rhodizite’s staff are pom poms of sorts

They don’t really like having such a long staff, so they shorten it to a baton and do tricks with it

They are perhaps one of the very few fusions that doesn’t really do any sparring with their weapon

They prefer pacifism, but will be on the defense should they be forced in a fight

They looooooove spreading love around the entire castle, and it’s infectious to boot

If anybody is feeling down, call Rhodizite, they’ll be there in a heartbeat

They do not care, nor give a care, about what they look like

Rhodizite is really good around kids (mainly cuz they let the kids get away with a lot of things whoops-)

Even though Plumette was a “bird” during the curse, none of her fusions are able to fly, only float

That being said, Rhodizite did swak like a bird once and Lumiere has never let that go

Cogsworth always, always has to keep an eye on Rhodizite to make sure they don’t shirk their duties

Of course, Cogsworth usually finds them in the kitchen making soup

Plumette has an actual rhodizite gem, as a small necklace she kept from her childhood

The back of their hair is shaped like swan wings (no, they sadly cannot fly much less flap)

Differences Between Classic (1991) Rhodizite and 2017 Rhodizite:

Classic Rhodizite doesn’t have nearly the amount of fluff in their hair that 2017 Rhodizite has

Classic Rhodizite cannot float

Classic’s component’s relationships are either platonic or romantic while 2017’s is strictly romantic

Classic does not have a weapon, as they control the wind

Classic is a lot more snarky and sarcastic than their 2017 counterpart

Classic's eye color is completely brown, unlike 2017's half brown half blue eyes

I am going a tad out of order because I really liked the sketch for Rhodizite, so I decided to go with them first.

Cassiterite is the primary ore of Tin, this mineral is found in hydrothermal veins and pegmatites associated with granite intrusions. Because of its durability, it is also frequently found concentrated in alluvial placer deposits, sometimes in large enough quantities to be commercially exploitable. Isostructural with Rutile.

Rhodizite is a rare late-stage accessory mineral in alkali-rich granite pegmatites. Rhodizite is named from Greek "rhodizein" - rose-coloured, alluding to the red tinges it gives in a blowpipe flame. Rhodizite is found as well-formed transparent to translucent colourless to white, sometomes pink, red, yellow-green, yellow, grey crystals. Rhodizite has a high lustre and hardness, but it is very rare and crystals are usually too small to facet. Faceted stones exceeding 1 carat are uncommon.  Pyroelectric.
