As a filmmaker myself with my #DirectorinHeelsProductions company that had promise to create 100+ jobs this year through #RHONairobi among other FILM and TV projects, I watched this video from Australian News with a heavy heart this morning. Thank you @marek__ for posting it. Our industry is always overlooked and this worldwide pandemic #coronavirus is bringing us to our knees. While we #selfquarantine we all switch on that movie we love, follow updates by our favorite entertainment personalities, follow news for updates, listen to music that heals, nourish our bodies with food/drink to keep us going. We use #entertainment to keep us hoping for another day. I hope that our own government will communicate to us on ways in which they can empower us, I hope our own Kenyan superstars will join hands with me and us “behind the scenes” people so we can be heard and so we can make best of a very dire situation. We are all under the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Arts SWIPE LEFT to see its functions and institutions that should SPEAK UP for us.
