One of the weirder things about having a weird as fuck name, is that I never see any dumb named gifts like coke bottles or key chains with my name. But people name their OCs my name and that's always weird but kinda awesome in a way
Captain's Log: Dreams
SWTOR drabble featuring Rhowen and Bombshell a little. Very short, just a thing. Ye be warned.
The world is very big from her point of view. They are running, and she has her sister’s hand held tight in hers, because the bad men are coming and Fay said to run and run far and run fast. Rhowen didn’t need to see the fear in her sister’s eyes to understand the tone of voice. So she and her twin ran.
The streets of Nar Shadda are very crowded and very confusing. They hit the mass of people, narrowly dodging legs and speeders, small four year old feet pounding the ground. She can hear the bad men behind her.
“I-I-I’m scared,” her sister says, struggling to keep up. Her mess of blonde hair and blue eyes makes her an adorable, wide eyed waif. Rhowen, with her ginger head and amber eyes, just looked wild.
“We’ll be ok. Come one, hurry up,” Rhowen replies urgently, tugging her faster.
She won’t let them get her, not her sister, not like this.
Something whizzed by them- blasterfire.
They hurtle around the corner and see the shuttleyard. Rhowen gets the idea. She shoves her sister forward to one of the shuttles. “Go! I’ll take the other!”
“But Rho-”
“Just go!” she snaps, and shoves her again as the men round the corner.
She makes it to a shuttle, sees her sister do the same, both of them scramble inside and hide and pray-
Rhowen jerked to wakefulness with a curse.
Her breath was coming hard, every sense on alert. She scanned the jungle around them. Mako set up a perimeter alarm –prudent for the beast infested jungles of Dromuund Kaas- but it wasn’t tripped, and the foliage around their small campsite was still. Nothing could be heard on the night wind except the rumble of everpresent thunder.
I haven’t had that nightmare in… In a long time.
Her sister.
When had she last thought of little Brenna? Not for years now. Not since the shuttle that took her to Hutta and left her stranded there. She could barely remember her face now. She did remember she was blonde, and blue eyed. She’d be pretty or at least cute by now. If she was still alive.
“Mmph. Rhowen?” Mako asked groggily. “S’ going on…?”
“Nothing,” Rho answered shortly. “Just bad dreams.”
“Wanna talk?”
“Not really.”
“Oh. Ok then. Well, poke me if you change your mind,” the cyborg said, and turned over to continue sleeping. By now she was more used to Rhowen’s mood swings, and took the curt reply in stride.
And Fay. She remembered Fay too, sort of. A Sith kid, older than them, with the same mother, but they were all blurry faced. Fay bought them time to get away from the slavers. She did remember that.
There were others, too. But-…
No. She didn’t remember. Fuck.
Rhowen got up and went to get her armor. It needed to be cleaned anyways, and there was no way she’d sleep tonight as it was.
