Unwelcome opinion time:

The upcoming Ghost film will not have any lore. If it does include any, it will be minor or inconsequential.

It will be a straight up concert film. Probably some behind the scenes stuff related to concert production, the band and crew backstage.

There was an interview around Rite Here Rite Now where TF (or maybe it was the director?) goes into how difficult it was to classify RHRN. It was a concert film but also had a narrative, but it wasn't a plotted film with storyline like a musical, the concert is nonfictional and is the center of the film. IIRC that's a big part of why it was financed by TF himself, because studios didn't know how to classify it and he struggled getting funding.

Also, TF stated the CDMX shows was shot on 16mm to give a throwback feel to it, reminiscent of older concert films. You can see it in the Umbra video. Even with digitization, filters, and being compressed to hell for youtube, the footage of the band has a different look and ambience than most videos.

(it's one of the downsides of moving to a digital world, some visual character is lost, everything has a sameness to it, colors are more vivid but there are less muted tones in everything)

In short, I wouldn't get hopes up for some huge reveal or lore-changing drops from the upcoming movie. Awesome if they do happen, an added bonus, but not the focus this time. Think of this as a Ritual for those who couldn't go, or discover the band during their hiatus. Especially if you see it in the theater, seeing this film should count as your first Ritual. Welcome to the Congregation!
