She screamed. The sudden disorientation of being thrown over his shoulder caught her off guard. “Chuck's sake!” she gasped, scrammbling slightly as she hung over his shoulder. “P-Put me down.” she kicked her legs in protest.

He didn’t know how to even describe what had just happened, the fear that he’d hurt her with even a few words was almost crushing and it surprised him. Turn back the clock a week or so and he had no idea she even existed, but now he knew all too well and he found himself caring about her more than he expected. And so, at first, his only response was to lower his head further and capture her lips in a kiss - the interesting angle making things a bit harder than usual, but he hardly cared. Even as he pulled from her lips, he pressed his to her cheek before sighing. “I’m sorry. I’m just not used to dealing with something like…this. Whatever this is.”

She relaxed in his grasp, into the kiss more so. She closed her eyes, kindly and childishly nuzzling up to the far taller gentleman. She rested there, saying no words, making not a sound. Just sat there until he spoke, her eyes fluttered opened and she laughed, quietly and teasingly almost. What were they? Not really a question she wanted to answer so she avoided it. “Well for the record you're doing a great job. Though I'm not the best judghe I don't know what I'm doing either.” she never did. Normally that's where the fun was, but hurting Genesis...? That was the last thing she wanted to do and she felt like she might be facing the inevitable. “Just keep doing what you're doing...” she tilted her head back against his shoulder to look at him, kissing his cheek.

she manages to come up behind him, and she has to raise to the very tips of her toes in order to cover his eyes with her hands.
