My boss also reads murderbot and when we talk abt it she will refer to it with he/him pronouns bc “the person that does the audiobooks is a man” and idk maybe I’m just #transgalaxybrained but I’m like “yeah but the voice is p gender neutral and also it is only ever uses and is referred to by it/it’s” like you’re literally changing the story which seems HARDER to me. wtf. Marty supreme was a good movie but the little glimpse we get into the Japanese champion Koto Endo’s life is so much more fascinating and compelling than Marty’s story tbh. And I know it was intentional to show the entitlement of Americans but damn that shit pissed me off so bad
