>: Meet the Faux Bro. [closed]
Now that you have at least some of the basics of this world under your belt metaphorically speaking, the premise of the situation you currently found yourself and gear and what-not at the very least. That being said there was still a lot you had not discovered or figured out completely. It was to be expected, you figured, given the nature of being plucked out of your universe and dropped into another. But at least you felt a little more confident, not like when you first walked into Estaria incredibly worried about interacting with more people than you had ever seen in your life.
With a new sword (albeit the wrong kind, but you could at least work with it) and some sensibly priced armor, you felt as though you were finally beginning to blend in a little bit. You just needed to figure out what to do with himself now that you were here and it didn't look as though you had the immediate resources to work on getting yourself home. After all, you couldn't exactly leave Roxy and the others back in your session without your help. Roxy was a smart girl but could come off as flighty, while she was undoubtedly the backbone it did not detract from the fact that you were in your own way completely vital to the success of your small team.
You headed back to the boarding house for the moment though. It would take a bit of thought to decide what to do next, so it would be nice to take some time and decompress.
You stop in the middle of the boarding house lobby, seeing a familiar looking figure in front of you. But... that was impossible, for multiple reasons. Your brother had been killed presumably years before your session, so even if he wasn't before he certainly was now. That, and this guy looked your age, if not younger. There was no way your older brother was standing in front of him... and yet... it was so uncanny.
Were you staring? You were probably staring.
