Yes, if he had a goal that tied in with the stranger in some way. Slaine is capable of being selfless but he also has a drive that tells him to serve and protect Asseylum, which requires him being alive, naturally. When it came to helping Inaho, for example, it was due to him having inclination that she had been with him and therefore came to find her, stumbling onto them fighting a Count and assisting him in the process.

This wasn’t happening. This wasn’t happening.
‘Come out here if you want another.’ His heart hammered in his chest with no sense of rhythm as if it threatened to burst free. The last twenty four hours had arguably been some of the worst in his life: he managed to glue his hand to the fridge, cut his thumb and desperately texted people he didn’t know in search of assistance to no avail. At least the.. drink.. he found had helped him steady his nerves a bit. It dawned on him that in the intensity of the moment, he’d kissed his enemy. Former enemy? Current roommate and insufferable pain in his ass? Inaho was bolder than Slaine expected him to be about what just occurred and what was going to happen if he really did decide to leave the comfort of his room. The after taste of his lips, the alcohol and his own blood after he bit the inside of his cheek in embarrassment for the hasty kiss left him flustered. Yet there was no hesitation in his movements as he eased the door open and made his way to the brunet, arms abruptly slung around his neck and lips meshed together rougher than need be, causing their teeth to hit. He didn’t mind, “.. Fine.” Slaine murmured, barely an inch removed from Inaho’s mouth. As far as he was concerned, he had been issued a challenge and accepted it.

The hell was this? Unknown number, unknown person and then he received a message like this? For all he knew it could be a massmurderer luring him into a trap.

Slaine peered at his phone until a new message appeared; and it didn’t take him long to realize he’d texted the wrong person. He could feel beads of sweat on his brow, the embarrassment sinking in. At least they had declined. He wouldn’t want a stranger to see him like this. Then again, their answer had come off incredibly rude.
