ABOUT HIS LIFE:
Rhys Camden Gray never really thought he was going to still be living in Fairhope, Alabama after he got out of the town to go to college. Growing up in a mobile home in Belle Chase, the young male had always thought he would be able to get out. Find something better than the stereotype he had grown up with. Life, it seemed, would have a different plan. After his father suffered from a stroke, resulting in paralysis, Rhys was set to take over the bakery. It was the only thing that was keeping a roof over his family’s head, and since they were determined to keep it in the family, how could the male refuse? Having to drop out of culinary school, Rhys moved back in with his family until he was able to save enough to find his own home.
While he hasn’t moved far from the mobile home he grew up in, Rhys has found himself a nice, cheap home in Belle Chase. Bayou Bakery has become a safe haven for the male, and the amount of work he has put into it has made it flourish from the little hole in the wall it used to be. Even on off days, he can be found in the place testing out new ideas to see if they would end up working. It’s easier for the male to throw himself into his work, and while he can be sociable–it’s mostly with the animals that can be found around the area. The male is probably one of the only inhabitants of Belle Chase that doesn’t have a sense of town pride, though he does his best to hide that fact if asked. The last thing he wants is to hurt his parent’s business since he would rather be anywhere else.
