ABOUT HER LIFE:
Growing up Willow was treated as a princess by her family. She was the only child that her parents would have and they spoiled her because of it. Her father was the mayor of Helen and her mother was a stay at home wife; having a daughter, all they needed was the white picket fence. In high school she met her future husband in 9th grade and they were together all four years of high school, as well as four years in college. It was when they were sophomores in college, they got married, but after the ring was put on Willow's finger, he started acting possessive and was abusive toward her. Upon returning home to Helen, her father still mayor at the time, she finally told him the truth about what was happening when he saw the bruises underneath the makeup. It was a few weeks later that her husband was killed in an accident, the police not even investigating it before putting it as an accidental death. Though she had no proof, Willow understood that her father had pulled some strings in order to make sure that she was never hit again. She stayed in Helen until she was thirty years old but when her father retired and wanted to move south with her mother, to Florida, she decided for a fresh starter herself and got a job teaching at the local elementary school in Fairhope. It's where she's currently been living for the past four years and she's finally found some happiness and peace.
