Art collab between me and @cookievampiress of Amphibia's very own Anne Boonchuy! I did the sketch, she rendered, and I have to say, I'm really happy with how this turned out!
Also, Cookie does take commissions, so be sure to head her way if you need some art done!
Yeah, sorry guys--like I said over on @rhys-ravenfeather, no new Myth City this week...I spent all my time on a drawing that ended up taking longer than I thought, and by the time I was done, I had NO energy left to work on a comic page ;w;
But I didn’t want to leave you all completely high and dry, so here. Have the result of me rewatching (or rather, listening to) old videos from my highschool days again XD
Oh, and don’t worry, with any luck, you guys should have an update next week!
Yeah yeah, I know I'm a bit late with this one, but on top of the fact that I had a couple other art projects I wanted to get out of my system first, my new new job has been eating up most of my time…and with all the tribute fanart Professor Utonium/Tom Kane has already gotten, it's not exactly like the guy's been starved for attention. All the same, the original Powerpuff Girls was such a huge part of my childhood, and the Professor's relationship with his girls so sweet and wholesome, that I couldn't not do my own redraw of sorts in his honor, including my headcanons for the girls' skin colors.
Goodbye, Tom Kane. Thank you for giving your voice, heart, and soul to one of, if not the, best cartoon dad ever.
Original picture under cut.

IF I HAD A NICKEL FOR EVERY TIME I SAW MYSELF AND AN ASPECT OF MY OWN LIFE AND EXPERIENCES IN AN INCREDIBLY FLAWED (and probably autistic-coded) CHARACTER WHO HAD SOME SORT OF DEEP-SEATED TRAUMA AND SELF-IMAGE ISSUES THAT WERE BROUGHT ON IN SOME WAY BY THEIR 'FAMILY' AND WHO DID A LOT WRONG, BUT JUST WANTED TO FEEL LIKE THEY WERE GOOD ENOUGH…eh, you know the rest.

Updated Benny reference! I'm not really happy with how his body/pose in his human form turned out, but otherwise, I definitely feel like I did better than the first couple times I drew him. Especially since I decided to bump him down a couple years--I feel like I captured his personality better, heh heh.

Obligatory at least one Myth City drawing per year go brrr. N E way, not that I'm actually interested in ever starting the Myth City comic back, or starting it up again, but I've been thinking that if I ever decided to reboot the comic or something, I'd probably have it set in the late 90s-early 2000s???? Maybe???? N E way, have a Helena with a 2000s goth/emo makeover.
