Updated Benny reference! I'm not really happy with how his body/pose in his human form turned out, but otherwise, I definitely feel like I did better than the first couple times I drew him. Especially since I decided to bump him down a couple years--I feel like I captured his personality better, heh heh.

YES, FINALLY GETTING BACK INTO MY WHEELHOUSE, LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOO.

So. I've been wanting to do a drawing of some kind with both SaSA! AU Hatty and Hailey for a while now; originally it was going to be something like the Spider-Man pointing meme or something, but then I saw this post and well...inspiration struck https://www.tumblr.com/rhys-ravenfeather/802324338284036096?source=share

So you can think of this as a combination of that post, my original idea, and that other art meme thing I did last year...which I will acknowledge this is basically just one step above, but hey, I also used Ian from my FNAF AU, as well as Izzy, so hopefully that makes it just different enough, heh heh. (And yes, I altered Izzy's eyes and hair, gonna do another drawing soon-ish where I plan to talk about that more, but for now, there ya go.)

I know this is a very specific idea, but if anyone else has an AU character or two-turned-full-fledged-OC, you have my permission to steal this idea from me--I'd love to see what you come up with :P

Updated Vivi reference! Yeah yeah, one of her arms turned out weird, and I'm not even going to talk about her eyes, but give me a break, on top of the whole 'work' thing, I don't draw animals a lot. All things considered, I think the Team Pet of OTOC's found family turned out okay, and I ended up lightening up her colors in her true Tatzelwurm form, since it was kind of hard to see her features before. This is probably the first time a character's 'normal' form ended up ironically being darker than their 'creature' form but I think it works.

I'm about to start working on new profile drawings for the OTOC characters here soon, but first, have some minor design tweaks for the Shadow Siblings, Maple, and Angela.

A now hundred-year-old meme that was more of an excuse to draw OTOC Charles than anything.

And Hailey bonding with her cousin over their respective Daddy Issues…and technically breaking the laws of time and space to do so, seeing as how said cousin would be in her nineties by the time of OTOC's main story. But hey, given everything our poor moth girl has to go through, I feel like she should get to use time travel to meet her distant ancestor when she was in her prime. As a treat.

Decided to go ahead and show the updated OTOC character references one by one after all, so here's Hailey's updated reference w/some fun facts. Human! Hailey looks a bit shorter than I intended, at least to me, but as a whole, I feel like I did better on this than the first couple drawings I did of her.

When you're thinking of giving the main character of your original story a somewhat more major redesign, but you've already done drawings of her for your official book, and you'd probably have to redraw all your book drawings.

I'm…still working on trying to get the first Oasis To Oakwood Creek published, at least in a format I like, and will keep trying to work towards it. But between the fact that I was actually able to get the first draft of the book done, and that we're coming up to the end of the year, I figured I'd go ahead and do a series of drawings of Hailey's old family. Including one of her parents in their younger years.

One of Charles with Violetta, since I see them as actually having been good platonic friends like the characters they were based off before he died.

And a drawing of Charles' brother, Hailey's Uncle Jericho, showing more of his true nature…in more ways than one.
