Rhysothy Week 2025 Day 2: Second Chances Ickah here - I has a mini comic series planned for this, but didn't have enough time off the holidays to get all the assets on place for this, so this illustration concept is very last minute. Rhys as Tim's fix-it angel, here to heal baby's hurts. (He gets his freckles back!) After Tim was removed from the map on The Handsome Jackpot, I felt a lot of trepidation (a lot of my favs get killed off randomly-) and a lot of the energy that I have for BL3!Rhys x Tim is out of a desperate desire to see Tim happy and cared for. And who better to undo one CEO's traumas than another CEO? (Dear Rhys, I write, please pay someone to remove a bomb from his face. And get him whatever reconstruction he wants. And a cat.)

I know I could’ve gone with the classic "Heart attack from seeing each other when Tim first shows up in the HQ" but then I decided that… Well, why not show a moment when not only Rhys sees Timothy being himself for the first time, but also Timothy sees his own self for the first goddamn time in ages

"Vaughn! You won't believe what happened!" "You got promoted?" "…no…." "So I will believe in everything else you're gonna say. Shoot." Rhys smirked and proudly straightened his chest, turning his prosthetic hand around. "I hit, with this very hand, Handsome Jack in his face and survived!" Vaughn sipped on the coffee and stared blankly at Rhys' hand, wondering if they drank too much last night. They weren't as young as they used to and maybe this was the moment Rhys had one drink too much. He took the disastrous pickled carrots coffee from the man and stared at his confused expression. "Bro, what the-" "Enough. You're talking nonsense." "Bro, no! I'm serious! I hit him in the face and survived!" "Why - why would you hit him?", Vaughn fixed his glasses, "You adore the man!" "I-I don't!" "You hadn't said a single believable thing yet, Rhys. You have posters of the man!" "I respect his craft!" Rhys took his coffee back and sipped on it, furrowing his brows. "But it doesn't mean I like him!" Rhys sighed and looked around. People were looking at them. He got flustered and just sighed. "I really hit him," he whispered, bending closer to Vaughn who mirrored the motion. "And I'm a Vault Hunter. Now let's go back to work, shall we?" === Timothy stared at Elpys, resting his butt on Jack's desk. His face hurt no more, but he wondered if he made a mistake by not doing anything to the guy. He only got a glimpse of his face but he could remember the yellow prosthetic. Cool. He hoped he would be the one to meet the guy next time though. If Jack was on his spot… Well. Let's say that pretty boy would not keep on running long.
