No matter where I go, if I'm teaching a class, I leave ALL on the dancefloor. All I've ever wanted was a place and a space where I can do what I love without people thinking they can control me. Just let me do what I do. It's just that simple. I had a really long day. Everything that I went through and have been going through all disappears when I get on the dance floor with these young people. If you REALLY want to get that #sabar choreography, you have to understand the LANGUAGE. In order to understand the language, you have to learn the musical notation of the drum!
