Breaking my silence in celebration of the recent Durarita event to reanalyse this moment because my frontal lobe is more developed and I've collected my PHD in Durarita

This still remains one of the biggest most significant Durarita confirmation moments for me besides the fact that they literally share a house and appear to share a bedroom and. Literally everything else they do

But not JUST because Shakespeare calls them a 'real couple'

Bianka delivers a scene where she plays a man offering everything he has, even his wife, to save his best friend. Rita is playing a character who's trying to help, and has to deliver the cheeky line of, "Your wife wouldn't thank you much for that,"

This prompts Bianka to BREAK CHARACTER and call out Rita's name thinking Rita was legitimately upset at her saying those things to another woman, as if Rita didn't get they were doing a play, only to realise she was the one who messed up and forgot that was one of Rita's lines

This already tells me a few things.

1. Rita and Bianka are either comfortable with the term "wife" or legitimately married at this point (though I'm not confident because they still seem young and maybe it's just Bianka thinking Rita was using their roles in the play to hint hint nudge nudge babe I'm right here because Rita also plays her wife in it??)

2. They are definitely not just friends, which is solidified by Shakespeare referring to them as a 'real couple', laughing at Bianka's mistake

And there is STILL more stuff after the play, where Rita teases Bianka about a scene where Bianka's character realises his wife was secretly the same 'man' who was trying to help him with his whole best friend being executed problem and allows her to be his 'bed partner tonight', and that she can sleep with his wife because. Well she IS his wife who happened to be undercover as a man.

Something about Rita teasing Bianka so openly about such intimate things and Bianka just going 'Hey!' at least in my mind solidifies that they have totally smashed cookies. Done the do. Whirled the pearl together.

I am legitimately planning to release an entire deck of presentation slides on every instance of Durarita including niche events I have recorded because I'm genuinely convinced I am THE Durarita fan and I need to spread my knowledge. Canonical rianka is what my ASD chose for me and I went all in.

Also maybe Rita and Bianka song playlists with very passionately thought out picks that I could honestly describe in detail why I chose each song releasing soon... For all 1 other people who are interested... If I get to share even a sliver of my love for Durarita/Rianka to even just one other person my heart will be full because I know that what I would want ♥️

When I say I NEED to eat out whoever is crafting Durarita like this at Mihoyo/Hoyoverse's headquarters I really do mean it. The acknowledgement that Rita is the only one who could both rival her and be important enough in her life to be the one to cause a big fight. Let's take a look shall we

This event had my toes curling my body sweating and my eyes rolling back. Getting to see more of Bianka being loose and comfortable and how she provides comfort to Rita is everything. We're so used to understanding that Rita is the rock, she is the safe space of Bianka who struggles with her emotions while Rita is a lot more capable of processing them.

But here, Rita is the one being more vulnerable, mourning Ragna and feeling uncertain about her capabilities if it hadn't been for others helping her. And instead of some lovey dovey thoughtless comfort, we get Bianka fully confident and still smiling knowing Rita absolutely has the full potential she can't see in herself. When Rita doubts her own attitude and shows some insecurity, believing she would be nothing without people like Ragna who set her on the 'right' path, Bianka debunks this with the intimate familiarity she has of Rita's character that isn't clouded by insecurity.

She's seen first-hand Rita's capabilities and somehow both expertly comforts Rita who grieves the loss of her mentor while also reaffirming that Rita never 'needed' anyone to be as excellent as she is now. She was not made, she was nurtured. She always had that spark in her that made her Rita. She knows exactly how to make Rita feel better and she entirely means it too.

Just the constant reminders every single time Rita tries to deny her own strengths that her and Ragna in the end have accomplished similar things and that she isn't in Ragna's shadow but rather right beside her and the mention of how significant Rita is to Bianka's life my GOSHHH

The confidence she has in Rita just itches my soul so right. A lesser characterisation would have her panicking and fumbling but no she knows who her wife is and what she can do and I just love canon Durarita so much

She is SO proud of Rita and so confident about how good she is and it's so delicious because we know Rita values perfection so this is such a personal compliment. The raw conviction is delectable

THISSS. HELLO BIANKA DURANDAL ATAEGINA AWKWARD COLD SERIOUS VALKYRIE MAKING JOKES? I'm picturing a family reunion already where the Kaslanas catch her laughing with Rita and bittersweetly realise while she isn't comfortable enough around them, she's found a home with Rita

Do I. Do I even need to analyse this one. LOOK at it. On a serious note I really do adore seeing Bianka give back in this relationship.

I find it so funny how I watch my friend bring up jeanlisa crumbs from who knows how long ago and write entire essays on it so when we nibbled on it together we felt satisfied but in Honkai they literally just drop "Yeah me and her (Bianka) sleep in the same tent and the same bed and live in the same house and have an official open relationship and are married" and I'm still hungry
