can you imagine if it was alex in rian’s place? what would we do / how would we react if alex broke things off with lisa and, only weeks later, he was posting about flying a girl 6 years younger than him out to see him on tour/going on road trips with her? rian isn’t exempt from criticism simply because he’s a “smol bean uwu he can do no harm my little drummer boy!!” like he’s a damn grown man. his actions are tasteless and thoughtless. and, given he’s in the public eye, he SHOULD face backlash following such a brisk, swift interchange into a new serious relationship. it’s not an ethically sound thing to do. imagine how cass must be feeling! if this happened with alex, he would be ripped to absolute shreds the second word got out. maybe that’s just because people are more susceptible to criticising alex since, lbr, he’s more famous and we believe he’s less likely to see our nasty comments. it’s why people tweet him rude shit all the time over anything. that doesn’t exist, for whatever reason, with rian. the double standard is at fault; we should criticise rian’s actions as much as we would for ANY person in this uncomfortable position. call people out for doing shitty, tasteless things. don’t keep quiet if it makes you uncomfortable just because you admire them. although, that being said, don’t @ rian OR dallas about it on social media. it’s fine to air your concerns to Twitter/tumblr, but the second you invade their privacy and directly address them about it, it takes the discomfort to a whole other level. sure, be upset w rian/the situation, but don’t tag them / tweet them. after all, it is their business; we are fans left to speculate after shady-ass occurrences on instagram, lmfao.

I just watched Cassadee’s Audition for The Voice again and my heart broke when i saw how happy Rian was for her.

I realise a lot of people are upset about the Riassadee break-up, since it's official now, so if anyone wants to talk about stuff or vent in my ask, you're welcome to. ❤️

for those asking if the news article about rian and cassadee breaking up is reliable: 

-cassadee is friends with the girl who wrote it. her sister use to be her roommate.

-for proof: go on the girls twitter (her name is written on the article) @JenSwirsky and notice that cassadee, her sister, and her mom all follow her. 

-cassadee also follows the nashville gab site on twitter

-because cassadee is friends with the girl who runs the site, she uses that website to posts things she doesn’t want to say herself

-yes, her friend, would never go behind her back and post that article. which is why Cassadee probably asked her to post that article. 

-that was cassadee’s way of announcing it. she probably didn’t want to announce it herself, so she asked her friend to announce it for her. the break up is official. i hate it too, but its time to accept it

-theres no “sources” because it came directly from cassadee -shes friends with cassadee

-cassadee and rian would have denied it by now if it weren’t true. they probably just aren’t comfortable announcing a break up. the break up is hard enough for them as it is, theres no need to add thousands of peoples opinions. having a news article do it for them is easier. just because she doesn’t announce it doesn’t mean its not official. they were together for almost 8 years. it doesn’t matter if it ended good or bad-break ups are hard. it was probably easier for her to deal with if someone else announced it for her.

-the reason only one site is reporting on it, is because cassadee used that site to announce it. shes friends with the girl who runs it. she isn’t gonna send an email to every website asking them to write about her break up. she has a friend that runs a country news site-so she asked her friend to announce it for her. its that simple. she’s not gonna ask every news site to talk about. so it makes sense she only asks the site where she has a friend that runs it.
