hey, I wanted to ask you which movies and books would you recommend me to check out that have an age gap really defined, my example is lolita, this is for an essay I'm going to write about how the media romanticizes age gaps and how it influences us.

Of course! Here are a few recs (Disclaimer: My goal isn't to romanticize the topic in any way!!) (TW: Gr00ming and ped0phil!a):

♡ As Summers Die by Winston Groom: Set in the South, this novel involves a romance between a young man called Willie Croft and an older woman, exploring themes of love, race, and societal expectations

♡ The End of Alice by A. M. Homes: The story is narrated mostly by a middle-aged pedophile and child killer who is serving a life sentence.
