I imagine they become penpals after 64 and send each other gifts. During a reunion they realize they’ve caught feelings for each other. I also think Ribbon could transform the tip of Bandee’s spear into a crystal one, that could be a cool weapon
[Added by Poll Runner] It really works well when combined with the headcanon that Bandee is the Dee in 64! It's just very cute and soft, with two shy and nervous kids who turn out to have a brave side coming into their own together!

Hi so like I am the only one that ships this and I am WAY to shy to publicly post about it (for now) because it's like. not only ultra rare but it's basically a crackship too. But listen. ITS SO CUTE TO ME. I kinda imagine their dynamic being like the trope of the shy and sweet one and then the outgoing and rowdy one and ITS SOOOOO SWEET TO ME. Bun would think Ribbon was so cool because she was brave and helped her planet. And I think that Ribbon in turn would find Bun's sorta carefree nature charming because hes just so chill. And like yellow and pink!!! They are yellow and pink!!! Like a lemon and strawberry starburst!!! Or strawberry lemonade !!!! Also like their ship name is PERFECT. Ribbon + Bun. RIBBUN !!!!! If I am allowed to rant with more propaganda. I think that they would send each other letters (dont question interplanetary letters) and Ribbon would always add hearts to the papers and it would be SO OBVIOUS they liked each other like okay we get it !!! Bun just go confess because we all know Ribbon is too shy to do so!! Okay I will shut up now. Ribbun ultimate comfort ship I would love to see a few more people ship it too. (Please ignore the singular fic with the ship tag on ao3 it was written by a friend and I back in 2021 and it SUCKS and the tumblr for fic updates was deleted long ago 😭😭)
