Mattie smiled softly as she reached over to grab Natalia’s hand. She knew her friend was hurt worse than her since her side had taken most of the impact so these few seconds were important. “H-Hey, Nat…I don’t think we’re going to make it out of this…but hey, we lived well while we could. If nothing else I am so happy that I met you. You’re amazing and you went through so much…but you got through it. I love you…” She noticed now that her friend’s chest had stopped rising and falling and let out a little sob “Sleep well. I’ll be joining you soon and hopefully we’ll share the same dream.”
