Burgeon Kyara Japanese Rice Lager (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. Exactly what it should be -- light and crisp with some lemon and floral notes in the nose. The body is quite light and clearly rice, and this finishes with a medium dry finish.

Harland Japanese Lager (Picked up at Costco). A 3 of 4. At $25/24-pack, this is simply a great lager. Very clearly a rice lager from the nose and palate, and this is clean, light, and has a nice florality in the nose. Can't ask for much else in this style, and it delivers exactly what it should.

Topa Topa KQ Express Hoppy Rice Lager (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 4 of 4. Probably my favorite rice lager that I’ve had. The body is spot on for the style with a nice crispness, some very light grain sweetness, and on top of it are some great tropical and lemon/lime hop notes. Definitely on the hoppy side for a lager if you’d prefer something more traditional, but the complex nose is absolutely worth it.
