The lingering mistake that “Furry” is always something sexual really bothers me.

I mean, I have plenty of friends who like the 18+ content, and they’re still amazing people; we just agree to disagree (since I don’t like it.)

As much as I considered not to identify with the “title” to avoid that, the fandom is so supportive and accepting to abandon. I instantly feel at home, and most everyone is just so welcoming. I suppose that Anthro-artist is a good synonym, but still..

I guess I just really hope for more and more people to catch on that the fandom’s a lot more positive than we get bullied for.
