Dirk Gently's Detective Agency - Animation

So, it’s finally here!

It was a long year of solo work, but I was still able to do it. Thanks to everyone who supported me along the way. Also, a special thanks to those who helped me with this difficult task. I still wish I had more time but what's done is done. Thanks for the audio transcript:

A part from a radio show, which I thought to take for my final film, but decided not to (because drawing cars would make me go crazy) Based on the 1st episode - the appearance of the ghost of Gordon Way

"But if no private detective looks like a private detective, how does a private detective know what it is he's supposed not to look like?"

This art was a real challenge for me. This is one of my longest projects, and I'm glad I was able to finally let it go (because I could fix it ad infinitum)

Ok, well um. It's gonna be a long post.

I only found out about the show "Dirk Gently's holistic detective agency" in 2018

I really liked it! And recently I decided to read the original story. I am currently reading "The long dark tea-time of the soul". Idk, but this piece makes me very happy.

(I am grateful to the 2016 series, because I found a book that I enjoy reading). I tried to draw the characters of the book as I see them...

Well, it came out like this

I censored some phrases because I needed to translate them into Russian and and it turned out kinda wanky + I had to take quotes from the Russian translation of the book, because i needed text
