Outside the comfort zone

Some friends of our were on a southbound road trip and stopped in Richburg, South Carolina (pop. 354) for the night.

Looking around for a place to eat dinner, they noticed right away that their options were limited.

They wandered into a joint called the Xclusive Lounge, where, as you can see from the sign posted on a wall, a certain code of conduct was enforced. Do you drugs outside.

But our friends reported that the food, drinks and service were good enough. That’s part of the fun of travel, right …? The joy of discovery.
