HEADCANONS BELOW

- Richie definitely forgot that it was Valentine’s Day

- Richie scrambled to create something for the day since Eddie had been hinting that he was excited about it

- He spent the entire day stealing candy from other kid’s lockers while they weren’t looking

- He made a heart-shaped card with a poorly drawn version of them on the inside

- ‘eddie spaghetti, you fill my heart with confetti, i am so reddie, for our valentine’s day, baby.’

- It looks terrible but Richie thinks he is the best boyfriend in the world, holla

- He gave his stolen candy and frantically made card to eddie who laughed and rolled his eyes because he clearly forgot it was valentine’s day

- Thing was that Eddie definitely forgot it was valentine’s day too and left all his presents for everyone ( including richie ) at home

- He definitely got Richie a card from the store that was cheesy but it worked

- He signed it, ‘happy valentine’s day, trashmouth’ with a heart

- They went back to Eddie’s house to get it and ended up just chilling on Eddie’s bed with the door locked just in case his mother came home

- Richie played with Eddie’s fingers and definitely teased him about the card while Eddie laid with his head in his lap, rolling his eyes and staring up at the ceiling while he did.

- ‘I got the exact same card from your mom last year’

- ‘Weird cause I was saving it for your sister. How’d my mom get a hold of it?’

- They definitely ate all the candy that richie stole from the other kids together

- Eddie gave him his second gift too -- cuss word sweethearts

- Eddie regretted giving him that gift because every day he got a stupid piece of cuss word candy from Richie saying how he felt about him that day

- Secretly, he was pretty glad that Richie liked them too. he likes seeing him happy.
