I would like to proclaim that I am in fact very excited at the possibility of loosing companions through results of your actions in DA4.

I remember vividly waiting for DA3 after the emotional roller coaster that was ME3. I desperately wanted to keep that momentum going. I was hoping for more serious consequences (after all it was essentially a war) and DA3 felt very ‘flat’ in parts. Don’t get me wrong I still get a little sad face each time they sing The Dawn Will Come, but I hoped for more.

I also remember a scene from a trailer or gameplay where Varric and Cassandra have a bit of confrontation about how to handle villagers after the Templar’s had invaded on boats... which did not remain in the game. But I wanted more tension building like this.

I almost want ME2 level stress of watching each cut scene and hoping to the high heavens your companion survives the mission!

Someone needs to talk to the inquisitor about the logistics of some things. For example... having the fireplace burning while both balcony doors are wide open to the snowy mountains, does not equal a warm room.

I was literally just thinking yesterday that I hoped we would get a female Qunari or female Dwarf companion ... and I’m so happy 😭
