I couldn’t pick just one song... :
badd - mike jones, ying yang twins, mr. collipark
nails hair hips heels - todrick hall 🤪
Nicest compliments: I’ve been told that I’m really upbeat so I bring life to the room and that I’m really funny to the point they feel like they’re always laughing when I’m around. My friends also say I have too much confidence in myself, especially in my physical appearance but I think everyone should have the confidence I have 😌 it’s impossible to make me feel insecure 💅🏻
I think it’s interesting that you said you’re thought of as ‘overconfident’ but in a good way because the theme I’ve noticed with your songs is that they’re very focused on a perspective outside of yourself. The Todrick Hall song probably less so, but still it has the theme of you as a (welcome and very fun, very sexy) spectacle for everyone else.
This fits super well with the ESFP Entertainer personality type! Hinata probably is drawn to your upbeat nature and your boundless confidence, but I think it’s a bit of the fact that you are surrounded by others and aren’t someone who can be or needs to be in any way be built up that gives him pause.
You’re startled by the loud call that seems directed to you, but you’re not exactly one to respond to Hey per se; regardless, you turn to see a young man with a shock of bright orange hair wave and run in your direction.
You don’t recognize him, but his eyes are a friendly shade of brown so you’re not completely annoyed that he’s interrupted you just as you tried to catch up with your friends. The two people you came with watch you from afar but not really so far up the trail; you’d stopped just briefly to tie your shoelaces.
Maybe they caught the slight redness in the apples of his cheeks before you did, and so they avert their eyes, engaging each other in conversation with a single glance thrown in your direction for safety.
“I-.. uh, hm,” he’s suddenly frozen stiff, realizing that he hadn’t had a plan for this. Maybe he hadn’t expected to get this far, but finally he remembered what had prompted him to run after you, and finally stretched out a crumpled up sheet of paper.
“I think you dropped this?” He says, “I didn’t want you to get lost.”
You raise an eyebrow, eyeing the item still in his hand without touching it. Who uses a map these days?
“It isn’t mine,” you say, chuckling to reassure him once you see his face positively blaze in embarrassment. “But.. thank you for trying?”
His hand goes reflexively to the nape of his neck. “Uh, I’ll leave you alone then, haha!” he says cheerfully, but inside he silently beats himself.
There’s a part of his chest that sinks into a part of his belly, but when you finally say what he didn’t know he wanted to hear - “Hey, if you have no one else, do you want to join us?” - all is right on that beaten path.
