Richmond's round church, built 1812-1814 by 18 men. It's really 16-sided and legend is it's round so the devil can't find a corner to hide in. (Awesome.) We expected to just stop and take a few quick pics, so we were surprised to find the door propped open and a super friendly volunteer named Dean who gave us a rundown. Turns out, it's really just round as an architectural fascination. Basically it's gorgeous. We also didn't expect to find references to the church all over town.
