Rick Riley x reader - Midnight Snacks
Summary: the reader and rick are cuddling at ricks house when the reader gets hungry.

I dropped my leg across ricks thighs. He pulled me closer to him and I nuzzled my face into his chest.
We were on Christmas break and were cuddling on ricks bed.
I was staying at his house with his family for the holidays because my parents are out of town.
We were laying and enjoying each others warmth and company. It was late at night and the only lights that were on in Ricks room were his Christmas lights he had handing around his room.
My stomach growled lowly and rick heard it. He kissed my head and squeezed my body.
“Are you okay?” He asked me. I hummed as a response and I let out a satisfied sigh.
My stomach growled again. Loudly this time. I rolled over on my back and rick reached over to rub my stomach.
“Let’s go get something to eat. I’m hungry too.” He said to me. I nodded and we got up.
We walked careful and quietly down the stairs and into his kitchen.
I sat on a stool and turned my back to the counter. I watched as my boyfriend opened the fridge and looked through it.
“You want some pecan pie?” He asked me. I nodded eagerly and he pulled it out of the fridge and shut the door.
He grabbed two forks and handed one to me. I thanked him and he sat beside me and put the pie on the counter. I spun the stool around and we started to eat the pie.
It wasn’t a full pie. Just half of one. Rick started on one side and I started on the other. We ate in silence, enjoying the flavors of the pie.
When we finished eating it I laid my head on Ricks shoulder.
“Thank you.” I said, kissing his neck.
“You’re welcome beautiful.” He said.
I put the forks in the sink and he threw away the pie dish.
We went back upstairs and laid in bed again. Both of us with full stomach and warm bodies. We snuggled up as close as we could get and we both fell asleep.

Activities – What are their favorite things to do with you? How do you spend your free time?
He loves when you watch him at hockey practice, he takes pride when he sees there in the stands watching him well you wore his jacket
Boo! – How do they feel about surprises, giving and receiving?
Rick surprises you a good amount. On your birthday he always gets your gifts that we’re super special
Comfort – How do they comfort you when you’re upset? When the tables turn, do they come to you, or try to handle it themselves?
Rick was never good at comforting anyone, for a while all he really cared about was himself and his reputation. But once you can into the picture you make your way on to his list.
It took time For him to learn how to comfort you, when you were upset he would immediately ask if there was anyone’s ass he needed to beat, but if that wasn’t the issue he’d do his best. He wasn’t good this words often so he would just pull you close. Letting you cry if you needed.
Dance – Do they like to dance with you? How good of a dancer are they?
Rick never dances with you really, unless it’s a slow dance at the prom.
Excitement – How do they act when they’re excited? What excites them?
Rick gets super pumped up after a win. His face is all red and he immediately goes to you.
Future – What are their plans for the future? Do they see themselves getting married, having kids?
He definitely can see himself marrying you. He definitely wants a big wedding and all that stuff.
Kids are also a definite for him. I can definitely see you both ending with 3 boys
Gifts – What do they give you as presents? How often do they get you gifts?
Expensive. Money wasn’t an object to Rick so he spoiled your rotten with it. Even when you would tell him he didn’t have to get you anything
Hold – How do they hold you? Cuddling, sleeping, holding hands…
Rick likes being the big spoon. It makes him feel in control and he loves the feeling of protecting you well you sleep
Ideal – What’s their ideal date like?
He’s taken you out to the country club a ton for dates. He also has a really nice back yarn garden so sometimes you’d make a picnic there.
Jealousy – Do they get jealous easily? How do they handle it?
Rick is the king of being jealous. If any of the varsity dudes try anything will you, he’s definitely checking them against the wall at there next practice.
Kisses – How do they like to kiss you? How frequently do you kiss?
He’s a very good kisser. He’ll kiss you anywhere, anytime. It always depends on his mood how his kisses you. Most of the time it’s slightly rough.
Love – How do they show you that they love you
Gift are his love language, he’s always giving you things, small or large
Melt – What do you do that absolutely makes them melt?
Your pout. he absolutely cannot say not to you give him puppy dog eyes.
Nicknames – What do they call you, and what are their favorite things to be called?
He loves calling you babe. He likes that it’s simple but he’s the only one that gets to call you that.
Obvious – How obvious do they make it that they like you?
He tried to make it seem like he didn’t like you. But he did a horrible job at it.
Pets – Do they have pets? Do they want them?
He probably has a super yappy dog that’s really small and bites people.
Quiet – How are the calm, quiet moments with them?
They don’t happen very often besides quite dates he sets up between the two of you.
Romance – How romantic are they? What are their go-to ways of being romantic?
Ricks go to moves for being romantic in a Getting your favorite flowers for you out of no where.
Safe – What makes them feel safe and comfortable around you?
You, your the only person he trusts to be vulnerable in-front of
Tend – How do they act when you’re hurt or sick, and vice versa?
You patch him up or hold the ice on his face after a rough game.
Unique – What’s an unusual thing about them that’s oddly charming?
Rick knows all there is to know about vintage cars. He could talk about them for hours
Variety – Do they prefer to keep things the same, or spice it up?
He switches things up in very small ways, but mostly everything stays the same
Wash – What’s it like taking a bath with them, or helping them wash up after a fight?
After a game, your pretty much playing nurse, tending to almost everyone of his needs
XO – How do they show you affection? How much PDA are they willing to show?
He not afraid to show you off in public, he usually has an arm around the small of your back or is holding your hand
Yearn – What do they do when they miss you?
He hates being away from you. When ever he has to be somewhere with out you all he thinks about is the next time he’s gonna get to see you.
Zzz – How do they act when they get sleepy? How is it sleeping in the same bed?
Like I said before Rick likes to spoon. He also doesn’t sleep with a shirt on so your back is pressed against his bare chest as you both drift off to sleep.

Dating Rick Riley
•being apart of the ducks meant Rick Riley was off limits
•but your couldn’t help you self, even though he was a complete jerk he seemed to show a softer side to you
•in the hallway he wouldn’t taunt you like he did with the other ducks
•he’d just, kinda stare at you. Like he was wanting to ask you something.
•one day as you were walking out of the jv locker room he was waiting there for you.
•you stopped in your tracks, thinking he was gonna try something with you.
•but he didn’t try anything sleazy with you, he actually just wanted to offer you a ride home.
•it was cold out and you didn’t exactly feel like walking home in the Minnesota weather, so you excepted
•and that’s how it started
•he had asked you on a date the next day and you hesitantly excepted
•you thought he was gonna take you to some fancy restaurant that you could never afford in a million year.
•but Rick thought that was too obvious, so he took you on a skating date, not the hockey kind
•he convicted the coach to let him use the ice Rink after hours so you could have it to yourself.
•you both spent about an hour skating around the rink
•definitely tried to show off for you, as much as you didn’t wanna admit it, but he was good
•when the skating got old, you both sat on the bleachers, talking about different things you both found you had in common
•when the night was over he drove you home, leaving a kiss on your cheek and a promise of a second date
•at first you didn’t tell the ducks about what was happening with Rick, you didn’t think they’d take the news well.
•plus he hadn’t officially asked you to be his girlfriend
•but when then third date came around he finally asked the question, and you excepted
•it was hard to keep it from the ducks, having to sneak around and lie about where you were going
•it finally got to a point where you just couldn’t take keeping the secret and you spilled
•the person who was most upset about it was Charlie, it made sense after everything Rick had done to him so you didn’t blame him.
•it took him and everyone else a while to accept what was happening
•you assured them that you wouldn’t be going out with Rick of you didn’t think it was a good idea, so they gave you there blessing
•Rick could have an attitude so it was your job to put him in check
•getting to know a lot of the guys on varsity better, scooter was the most relaxed of all the guys so that’s who you mostly talked with
•you’d alternate between sitting at the ducks table and sitting with him and his friends, like you were a child of divorce and they were splitting custody of you
•Rick would wanna have you every lunch period, but if it made you happy, he was happy
•he learned to make compromises with you a lot
•his kisses were usually by surprise, catching you off guard
•despite being rough on the ice, he was gentle when it came to you
•it’s like his whole body relaxes when you hug him or snuggle up to his side
•he’d let you wear his jacket, but would constantly tell you to be carful with it
•his favorite place to kiss you is your neck, definitely likes to leave some hickeys there
•you we’re definitely the one to keep him from letting his ego get to big
