"You have to forget me," said in the man in Bauhauzzo's memories.
The God of Memory looked down at him, confused. "My snowflake, you know I can't do that."
The man placed a small hand on the God's thumb, smiling like it was just another Monday morning. "Yeah, but you have too."
Bauhauzzo felt tears welling up in his eyes, His great hands shaking as He held His darling obsidian. "Do you understand what you're asking?"
The man spoke as he nuzzled further into the hand that held him. "Ding! Look, if you remember me, then I'll always make you sad. I don't want that."
"But your memory will make me happy too! The good and the bad, that is what I remember. What I must remember." He pleaded with His anchor.

The man laughed, laughed with more joy than Bauhauzzo had heard from him in decades. "98% of audiences would hate this ending, but I like it." The man gave Him a small kiss and whispered, in a quiet voice, words meant just for Him. "Thank you."
He kissed the man, and the man kissed Him. His rock. His beloved. His-
Bauhauzzo was dragged out of his memories by the searing heat of a single tear falling on his hand.
Huh.
That was odd.
He couldn't remember what he'd been crying about.
