*in the lair, right before Pericles locks Marcie in the trunk to bring her into the caves*

Mr. E: I want you to promise me something, kid.

Marcie: What?

Mr. E: If you love someone, you tell them. Even if you’re scared that it’s not the right thing. Even if you’re scared that it’ll cause problems. Even if you’re scared that it will burn your life to the ground, you say it, and you say it loud. And then you go from there. Got it?

Marcie: *nods*

*later, in the cave, while Marcie has Pericles in a head lock*

Marcie: I love you, Velma. I always have. I love everything about you. Even the things I don’t like, I love. I love you, and I want you with me. I love you, and I think… that you love me, too. Do you?

Velma: *stunned*

Marcie: If we get out of this alive, I want you to marry me.

Concept:

Cassidy wakes up in a hospital. Everything hurts, and she can’t move. The last thing she remembers is sacrificing herself for the kids. She wonders if they’re okay. She hears footsteps enter the room.

“You’re up! That’s great! I’ll call your husband right away. He’ll be thrilled! You know, he’s been sitting here all day every day for weeks. He’s even spent a few nights here when we didn’t know if you were going to pull through.”

“Huh?” Husband? What husband? Weeks? How long has she been here? What is this nurse talking about?

“It’s okay. I’ll give you some time to process and let the doctor know you’re awake.”

She goes back to sleep for a couple hours. When she wakes up, Ricky’s in the doorway.

“So it’s true. You’re awake. I guess that means I can go…”

“Ricky? Do these people all think you’re my husband?”

“Well, uhhh… yes.”

“Why?”

“They wouldn’t let me see you if I wasn’t.”

“How’d you find me?”

“Apparently, I’m still your emergency contact. The people who found you found your cell phone in a dry bag.”

“How am I alive?”

“You washed up on a beach a few towns away from Crystal Cove, and some people found you and called an ambulance. You’ve been here in the ICU since.”

“Are the kids okay?”

“They’re fine. Now that Pericles, Brad, and Judy are locked up, they’re safe.” 

“How’d they manage to catch Pericles?”

“I have my ways.”

Cassidy is relieved, but one thing still doesn’t make sense. “The nurse told me you’ve been here every day.”

“Oh… yeah… well…. She must’ve been exaggerating. I mean- I- I’ve been here a few times…”

“Ricky, have you been sitting here every day?”

He looks down, embarrassed. “I haven’t been back to Crystal Cove in three weeks.”

“Because you’ve been here with me?”

“I didn’t want you to be alone.”

Idk why, but I had some idea for AU. It's been in my head for weeks, if not months. The idea is something like this: Pre-Nibiru timeline in Crystal Cove is at first glance a law-abiding and absolutely clean corporation «Creationex», engaged in the production of clean energy, but about which, nevertheless, there are not too favourable rumours, accusing the corporation of... illegal things. The corporation is run by a husband and wife, who practically do not appear in public, not counting the closed events of the corporation. Most of the social interactions, like advertising, are performed by Ed Machine. But when Scooby Gang comes all upon information about the original «Mystery Ink», they receive a message from a certain «Mr. & Mrs. E» who tell them that they have touched the truth of Crystal Cove and its Curse.

When Crystal Cove falls under the influence of Aphrodite's love charms, an unfamiliar woman comes to their aid, in whose voice they recognised the same Mrs. E. Why did she help them deal with Aphrodite? What are she and her husband planning? The second «Mystery Ink» will soon find out about it.

In short, I have an idea what will happen if Ricky and Cassidy are married in the Pre-Nibiru timeline, and there will also be «Creationex» instead of «Destroido».

I thought about what would happen if I combined some points from the Post-Nibiru timeline with the original timeline. And that's how this AU came to my mind. I've already baptised it «Mr. & Mrs. E» and I'm even thinking about making a few arts on this AU.

Angel Dynamite/Cassidy Williams x Mr.E/Ricky Owen relationship in the show had me in a chokehold, I mean, it was a relationship that had such tragedy, and they both worked so well, I was so happy that the ending of show showed them being married to each other but yet I feel like they left out so many opportunities of showing us what they're relationship was like when they were young and in the current time line(before the cursed was lifted).

I mean, look at the picture and tell me he did not miss Angel. He quite literally did!.

I wish there were more fanfics about them. They won't leave my mind, I'm a sucker for these two, literally.
