that being said i am also really glad rich cheese isn't cannon. Because I have a feeling they would've just portrayed her as neglectful just like hollyberry and dark cacao.
when I KNOW she would've spoiled rich cheese rotten. she would've showed her off- taken her around town and be very social about her and bring her into social situations. get her acquainted with everyone just like how golden cheese knows every single citizen in her walls. She would've made rich cheese feel like the golden kingdom was her home and you know that on that fact alone golden cheese cared for her endlessly
Because the thing about golden cheese is her entire story is build on how much she cares. Losing her kingdom in the dark flour war broke her- destroyed her. because she loved everyone so much it hurt her. she could only cope by keeping a facade of her love around her.
she recreated every single one of her citizens without missing a beat because she knew them. As much as she prides herself on her own self love that's only a reflection of how much she loves everyone around her. Every person in her walls is part of her greed and part of the reason she loves herself, but without them she's nothing.
Shes broken. Shes in pain. and she hurts, she yearns for them.
When shes broken and loses her soul jam In beast yeast, its her spark to keep everyone else alive and smoked cheese telling her to act like the god they worshiped her for that gets her out of it. Reminding her that she is powerful and she needs to keep fighting for them.
her kingdom is her heart. her abundance of appreciation and love is her drive.
which is again... why I'm also glad that rich cheese isn't cannon because then her story would've focused on her being neglectful parent when again- you know DAMN WELL THATS NOT TRUE

This, this is what I mean when I say Golden Cheese would be a good parent, Yes, she's greedy, but that's not the only thing that describes her, and I am sick & tired of people only seeing her as greedy and nothing else, not only that but seeing her greed as the the one based on the Bible when in game devsis have repeatedly stated that her greed is that she overly cares for her people and anyone that comes her way.

Controversial Take: BurningCheese isn't a BxA Outlier
The villain x hero trope is notoriously toxic, but to say one BxA pairing is worse than the others is a misconception. I have done my research, looking at both sides' opinions. Please note that this post is impartial. I am not here to tell you to hate or love it. I am here to prove that the allegations of misogyny, slavery, and racial discrimination are unfounded (with supporting evidence).
Allegation 1 - Physical abuse is worse than mental abuse. Abuse as a definition is "treat with cruelty or violence, especially regularly or repeatedly." Every Beast has hurt their respective Ancient dearly. Shadow Milk treats Pure Vanilla as a doll to be stitched back together, attacking his self-esteem. It got so bad PV jumped off of his spire. Mystic Flour convinced Dark Cacao's allies to die. Eternal Sugar love-bombed Hollyberry, threatening her if she ever left the garden. Golden Cheese was physically forced to her knees and watched Burning Spice destroy everything around him. Her body severely crumbling. The type of abuse isn't some competition. Burning Spice knew brutality is what would get to his other half more than any mental attack.
Allegation 2 - Their story is a metaphor for black oppression/slavery. (Censoring names for privacy reasons.)
Burning Spice is Indian influenced. He isn't supposed to be depicted as a white colonist. India did accept slaves to work for them in the Colonial Era, but abolished slavery completely in the 19th century. (Indians were also likely to be taken as slaves themselves during that time.) He's not oppressing a specific race. Golden Cheese is a strong black woman, but her skin color has nothing to do with why Spice wants her to fight him.
Allegation 3 - Misogyny.
As for the girl boss stereotype, that's just her personality. In the Costume Story, she can force Spice out of her digital world. She canonically likes tournaments.
Golden Cheese puts Spice in his place and still pities him for how he is compelled to destroy his own treasures.
The Beast of Destruction is thrilled she's fighting against him. Previously discarding her soul jam because he wanted a struggle. I think it's fair for fanart to depict them as stabbing each other equally. Golden Cheese can take care of herself and even outrank him in battle.
(I scrolled for a while on Twitter and Tumblr without finding content of GC being a slave to Burning Spice either. One person had concerns about that, but I couldn't verify if that art ever existed. No red flags that I saw.)

My Golden Cheese design is still in its first stages. I'm not sure if I like it yet. I was planning on putting burning spice too in the picture, but I didn't like how he turned out
Whenever i draw burning spice and golden after the/a fight i always give them similar levels of damage
because in the animation they seemed more or less evenly matched. like i rewatched it and only 2 hits were actually landed š once when bspice shoved cheese towards to cliff edge once when he hit her through the boulder but im not counting that one cause she was distracted. but it makes me wonder how their battle wouldāve ended if that baby kulfi wasnāt there š¤š¤ like would there have been an eventual winner or would they have kept fighting until they both collapsed from exhaustion š¤š¤š¤ who knows. idk itās fun to think about
