We are featuring our Syrendell Summer Camp instructors this week! Rick Tan Woodworking Teacher | Grades Track Dr. Tan loves the sound of hammers hammering and sand paper sanding! He enjoys sharing the process of transforming wood into beautiful and functional pieces. He is a Waldorf-certified teacher who has taught at public schools, private, and homeschooling programs, as well as for adult workshops. Dr. Tan holds an MD and a BA in biological sciences. He is an artist, musician, and craftsperson, who co-founded Syrendell with his wife Jennifer. They have four children and live in Davis, CA, with a cat and bunny.
