Mois de septembre; me voici de retour en Normandie après une saison bien chargée en surf et en boulot. Il me reste 20 jours pour préparer mon arrivée dans la capitale mexicaine...
Le 4 septembre, je me rends à Paris pour un rendez vous au consulat mexicain afin d’obtenir mon visa.
A cause de la canicule de ce début de mois de Juillet j’ai rennoncé à me rendre à l’inauguration de ce skatepark conceptuel et éphemère au coeur de Paris avec toute la team Volcom: David Gonzales, Dustin Dollin, Axel Cruysberghs, Eniz Fazliov Victor Pellegrin, Vincent Coupeau, Romain Covolan

Selon une source sûre la chaleur était telle que les modules se sont enfoncés dans le bitume en ébulition.
Je profite donc de l’avant dernier jour pour aller le skater, et pourquoi pas prendre quelques photos.
Arrivé sur le spot, je fais la connaissance de Ricky Webb un rider Californien et ses accolytes, en vacances en Europe pour l’été. J’en tire quelques photos (les premières avec mon nouvel appareil photo).

Après une longue séance de shoot avec Ricky sur un Back tail to Back tail qui s’est avérée peu fructueuse (en partie due à la difficulté du trick). Je vois arriver des têtes biens connues: Vincent Milou et Ben Garcia en transit à Paris qui comme moi ont décidés de faire un détour sur ce skatepark hors du commun. Voici les quelques photos, j’en conviens, pas extraordinaires , que j’ai shootées en quatrième vitesse avant que la pluie ne se mette à tomber.

4th of september, i’m heading to Paris for an apointment at the mexican consulate in order to obtain my visa.

The sun was hitting so hard that the courses sunk into the boiling concreet.
Arriving to the spot I met Ricky Webb and his friends, in a hollidays tour of Europe. here are the pictures that I captured (the first ones with my new camera). After a shooting with Ricky on Back tail to Back tail which has proved little fruitful (partially owed to the difficulty of the trick). Some well known dudes from the french skate circuit were heading to the spot: Vincent Milou & Benjamin Garcia. There were in transit in the city and as me they choose to make a detour by this incredible and mayfly skatepark. I grabed my camera and shot a few pics in really few time before it started to rain.
