How did you pick your band name?
Came to life out of the womb & landed myself the title.
Using 3 words describe what kind of music you play?
Folk, acoustic, indie.
Who were your favorite bands growing up?
Blink-182 were the first band, which grew into Good Charlotte & Sum 41.
Over time my music taste has grown & developed into bands such as Dance Gavin Dance,
Never Shout Never, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Lions & Panic! At The Disco.
What do apart from Rico Garilli?
I mostly just sit around smoking cigarettes, working at making this music thing happen.
Soaking up the good times & living a life filled with every desire I foresee of an existence.
Do you get into local bands much and if so who else do you dig?
I love local bands, they're probably some of my favourite listens/shows.
I dig Ben David, The Skeleton Club, Dead Joe, Luca Brasi (TAS), Just Like Clockwork,
We Are The Emergency (WA), & Belle Haven (VIC), to name a few.
How did everyone meet?
I met myself after a long self-actualisation path of meditation, love, drugs, & experimentation with my instruments.
Do you have any future plans for your music?
I released my debut ep 'sunflower.' this month (available at ricogarilli.bandcamp.com), & opened for my first
international act (& favourite band) Dance Gavin Dance. I hope to build from this & continue putting out
releases & support the bands that I love. I'm developing a lot of national interest,
so a big Australian tour would be an ideal - also travelling overseas (USA) in a tour relation also.
If you could have 1 dream tour who would it be with and where?
USA tour, opening for a lineup of Dance Gavin Dance, Never Shout Never Lions, MOD SUN, & The Burgeoning.

Do you love a band you secretly wish you didn't?
If you love a band that you feel obliged to hide away from in support, you're not doing anybody any favours.
I love who I love & I keep very open with that. I secretly get down to S Club 7 though.
First band you saw live?
The first show I ever went to was when I was about 15 - Pennywise, The Vandals, Sum 41, & Bowling For Soup. Great first show in my opinion.
Where abouts are you located?
The tranquil Adelaide Hills of South Australia.
If you were the ultimate Pokemon master who would top 3 pokemon in your team be?
Venusaur, Aerodactyl & Raichu.
Describe all the members of your band as animals?
I'm a lion. It's all in the hair.
What's been your favorite show so far?
Opening for Dance Gavin Dance (& also my friends in Belle Haven).
Favorite Movie Quote?
The entire 'Dude, Where's My Car?' script.
What is your biggest inspiration as a band?
My biggest inspiration is found through meditational practice. Not necessarily sit down, legs crossed,
candles & incense burning meditation, but the journey of ones mind through the travels of day-to-day.
Picking up on things outside of the the box & creating a higher collective of understanding.
What is your bands favorite snack food?
Organic Bananas. Or any kind of wonderful Vegan sweet.
Somebody bring me Vegan sweets to my shows. Ty.
Invent a word, how do you pronounce it, and what does it mean?
I'm not creative enough for this project - but if somebody wants to invent a word that will replace
either 'dude', 'man', or 'dope', so that I have another word to use in every single sentence - hit me up.
