Kinktober – Days 27/28 Sensory Deprivation: Daniel / George 

It started by accident – George bopping around the apartment in Daniel's matchy matchy, noise-cancelling Beats by Dre headphones, listening to the playlist that reminded him of summer break and LA and the face Daniel made when the spicy fried chicken turned out to be very spicy, and he hadn't heard the door thud shut on Daniel's return or his footsteps or the groceries being deposited on the kitchen counter.

He hadn't heard him call his name as he leaned in the doorway, watching him dance, hadn't realised he was there until halfway through an embarrassingly cowboy-swinging-a-lasso-esque turn and George had pulled the headphones down and turned a shade of red he had no control over. 

"Well, howdy," Daniel had drawled. "Ain't that a real purdy sight."

And George had laughed and blushed hotter as Daniel lifted the headphones back over his ears and insisted on dancing with him – George to the music, Daniel to George – until there was more swaying than dancing, more kissing than swaying. 

So now, occasionally, Daniel holds out his matchy matchy, noise-cancelling Ornamental Conifer headphones to George and George puts them on and they dance – one to the music, the other to the one – until they're out of tune with everything except each other.

I will never stop complaining or loving their bestie era💛 Also, I guess the FIA does listen to fans every once in a while🤷🏽‍♀️😹, as having Danny Ric/Danny Avocado/Honey Badger/Ricciardo Daniel and Georgie Russell/Russell George being each others' biggest fan and hype men in multiple presses together and outside of press in the driver parades or paddock have become some of my favourite moments this season thus far💙

sometimes i remember george rocking up to the paddock in DR3 merch and using the weak excuse of the sweatshirt being his girlfriend‘s and then I start to miss them together 😭

OK, I HAVE DONE IT, I made a discord server for Daniel/George, I have NO IDEA how this is going to go, I only know that I see a lot of people who seem interested in the ship but I don’t see much content or much collaboration over it, so I’m just...
