She glances at her timer seeing it getting closer and closer to zero, “Just a few more steps I’ll be in my apartment and no one will die. No one will hear it.” The timer goes off beeping just before she gets to her door she freezes and glances around worried about whose timer went off with hers. She struggles opening the door to her apartment and final gets it before slamming the door and sliding down the wall head in her hands.

Kara stares at her wrist as the numbers count down from ten, she starts running hoping that she might avoid the person, as well as her inevitable fate. Then she finds herself sprawled out on the ground with a scraped knee. She looks at the woman she had just bumped into the word sorry forming on her lips before she notices that the numbers on her wrist had finally zeroed and were flashing red. A quiet tone, that sounds like it is from a bell echoes in her ears. “Ask not for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee.” She mutters the words, who would have thought that it would have such a literal meaning to her in this moment.

Apparently this person was who the police turned to when they were stuck and she is hopeful that she might be able to discover who she really is.
