As she had finished her task readying the club for close, she had retrieved the weapon she had been storing in the cellar while on shift. Maintaining an invisible shroud over its form was often best, as the scythe was more often than not alarming to those that saw it. It had been on her mind for the past several hours leading up to the close, something she knew she should have mentioned initially.
“Ah, hoy, Hayato!” Wanting to speak to him before they left, the crossbreed called over before heading over. Hesitating slightly, she gripped the invisible shaft as it leaned against her shoulder. “Art thou well? It was a good day I believe, even for a Friday.” Pausing, she glanced off to the side at nothing in particular.
“I am afraid I have not been entirely forthcoming with thee, for which I ask thine forgiveness. There is something I must tell thee, or rather, show thee.” She returned her gaze to his, realise she must seem rude. “There is... Something I have been keeping here, bringing with me on mine shifts and taking it when I leave. I have ensured it is always stored safely, however...” She paused, taking another breath.
“There is no denying it would likely pose a danger to any whom might tamper with it, and it has an appearance many may consider to be alarming.”
