First chain tightening! Actually haven’t had to do this since Laos, as my bike in the States is shaft-driven. _ I’ve put over 2,500 km on my Himalayan now, loving every bit of it. This bike is super fun to stand up on and makes throttling any stretch of rough road seem like an enjoyable downhill. _ I’ve been calling it “Oso,” mostly with the spectacled bear (Oso anteojos ) in mind, but the word “oso” is used for many beloved non-bear animals, too, like the anteater (Oso hormiguero). _ Oso and I are preparing to head south, first to Cali to rendezvous with a protector of wildlife and then towards Ecuador into an Amazonian region of Colombia, Putumayo. _ There is incredible wildlife and medicinal plants to be found in those jungles. _ In the meantime I’m preparing videos for a spot to be launched online. Stay tuned... _ @hinterland_empire #ridewild #wildlife #motorcyclediaries #weareallconnected #wearealltrulywild #royalenfieldhimalayan #junglefever (at Tolima, Colombia)
