I had literally finished making these ornaments at 4am on 11/8/18. These were made from my parents clothing, buttons from my Mommas button collection and metals from my Dad who was the 1959 Oklahoma state wrestling champion. They were on my dining room table and left behind as I evacuated due to the #campfireparadise I though I would be back home in a few hours and I only had time to wrestle with my cats and get them into a carrier, grab my laptop and a suitcase with a few small items and at the last second I tossed in my Mom and Grandmas wedding rings. Most everyone thought we would be coming home. I’m so glad I have these pictures but it’s not the same as touching and feeling the fabric and seeing them hung on our Christmas Tree. Tomorrow marks 6 months since the fire and while some things stay the same, so many other things have changed our lives forever. #firesurvivor #paradisestrong #buttestrong #ridgestrong #movingonwithlife #memories #familyornaments https://www.instagram.com/p/BxLsxTKhIRJ/?igshid=kxk85bvcai1a
